The "Learning Center in a Box" Laptop Classroom systems make computer education easy and convenient. These systems are equipped with a server, printer services, multimedia laptops, projector system and Internet access for a complete multimedia experience. The student laptops are user-friendly and flexible, balancing long battery life with multimedia features, reliability and ease of portability. The server base station is highly mobile and connects wirelessly to thelaptop computers, allowing the "classroom" to be rolled quickly and easily to the best available location.

We have developed a wireless mobile Laptop Classroom that combines the best of two worlds. With two classrooms in one, teachers of all levels are afforded more teaching strategies and options. With the laptops closed, teachers have a standard lecture room; when the laptops are opened, they have a state-of-the-art wireless computer laboratory. This dual capability allows the teachers to move seamlessly between the two environments and combines the strengths of each setting.

The Technology
Our society is continually becoming more technology-driven, and the Laptop Classroom provides a way for students to access educational software and the Internet. Each laptop has a built-in wireless network card and a standard Ethernet connection to allow students to easily connect to both wireless and wired laptop classroom networks. The result is a well-developed learning experience and a better understanding of current technology.

Tech Support
Arche Designs provides both hardware and software support for students and teachers. We administer the necessary training for teachers to show them how to successfully utilize the Laptop Classroom. This includes basic training on how to connect to the server and use the educational software.

The Criteria
Arche Designs sets forth standard criteria to better incorporate laptops into the learning process. To meet this need, the "Learning Center in a Box" must:
